The wedding is going to be in Central Gardens in Clear Lake, IA. If anyone would like to see the website, it has some pictures as well as the address

The garden is absolutely beautiful and anyone who is in town early can walk just a couple of blocks to the lake and enjoy the scenery! The wedding ceremony will start at 6 p.m. There is a church nearby that rings bells at the time so that will be our cue to start!

Following the ceremony, we will head to the Music Man Square in Mason City, IA, which is less than ten miles from the gardens. You will be taken back to the River City Streetscape, 1912. If you've ever seen the movie the storefronts will look familiar! At the end of the street you will see the large Reunion Hall and that is where the reception party will be!! We will be having a variety of appetizers and cheesecakes. There will also be beer and wine provided. It will be keg beer (haven't decided which kind yet!) and a variety of wines, but there will be a different bottled beer available for purchase, if you prefer something else.
The easiest parking at the Square is right across the street in the mall parking lot. I will be putting directions in the invitations. Also, for those not wanting to drive, I will be getting taxi numbers and we are will also have a few desginated drivers that will be able to pick up/drop off.

There are many hotels to stay at in Mason City, or Clear Lake, but we have blocked rooms at the Super 8 in Mason City. The phone number is 641-423-8855. I did put this information in the Save the Date cards. Other options are Holiday Inn, American Best Inn and Suites, Comfort Inn, etc. The Hanford Inn shut down so that is no longer an option.
There are also many restaurants in the area and few near the Super 8 include Carlos O’Kellys, Applebees, Prime and Wine, and McDonalds. There is also a Buffalo Wild Wings and Whiskey Creek not far down the road.
There are also some golf courses in both Clear Lake and Mason City-Highland Park or Pine Creek Golf Club are just a few.
For those wanting to camp, the best would be the campgrounds in Clear Lake and here is the information
