Our Story

For those of you who do not really know, here is the story of how we met. The year was 2004 and we were both attending Southwestern (Community) College in Chula Vista, California. Michael played baseball for the school and I played softball. Throughout the baseball and softball season we would see eachother in passing, but that was about it. After school was out for the summer, a few of his teammates and few of mine got together at a little party were Michael saw an opportunity. I had left my cell phone behind so Michael decided to take it. He figured I was going to have to get it back some time and that he wanted to be the person I had to contact in order to do that. Michael called my best friend Roni to let her know that he had my cell phone and if we all could meet up sometime so he could give the phone back. I beleive we ended up meeting at Giovonni's Restaurant of all places. I got my cell phone back and Michael also got my number. Michael called me a couple times which I though was just a friend thing, until he finally built up enough courage to ask me out. Despite the fact that Michael spilled my soda on my new pants on our first date, I decided to give him another chance. There was just something about him that I liked. I think it was that he was always genuinely nice. Our relationship was only supposed to last for the summer because we were both due to go away for college after the summer was over. We had no idea that we both happened to be going away to school in Missouri and that our schools were a four and a half hour drive apart. What was only supposed to last a summer ended up lasting five years. Now we are preparing to last a lifetime together.

Our Wedding

Our wedding ceremony is at The Four Points by Sheraton, located at 8110 Aero Drive, San Diego, California 92123. The attire for the wedding is formal to semi-formal and the ceremony will start promptly at 5:OO p.m. and will last about a half an hour. The ceremony will take place outdoors.

Our Reception

Both the cocktail hour and the reception will be located at The Four Points as well. The cocktail hour will immediately follow the ceremony and will be held outoors. The reception will take place indoors at the hotels Pavillion banquet hall and will be held from 6:30p.m. to 10:30p.m.
