Our Wedding

Our wedding will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 6pm. It will be held at Nicollet Commons Park in Burnsville, MN (as part of the new Heart of the City). There are public parking ramps available on the North and South side of the Park.

Our Reception

The reception will be held at the Chateau Lamothe in Burnsville, MN (located approximately 1.5 miles south of the Park on Nicollet Avenue). The Chateau is a quaint family-owned wine bar/restaurant where we met and where we got engaged. The reception will follow the ceremony at approximately 7pm, with dinner and a dance to follow.

The maximum capacity of the Chateau is 200 people. Although we would love to invite all our family and friends, we must limit the guest list to only those named on the wedding invitations. Thank you for your understanding on this special day.

Travel Arrangements

We have reserved a block of rooms for the evenings of September 11 and September 12 at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott (+952 435.2887), the Hampton Inn (+952 435.6366), and the Days Inn (+800 329-7466), located just across the street from the Chateau Lamothe in Burnsville, MN. Special rates are available to those identifying themselves with the Barry-Erickson Wedding Party (ranging from $70-$85 per night). Reservations must be made no later than August 11, 2009 in order to guarantee the group rate.

Weather for the Twin Cities area in September is low to mid 70's. However, the evenings can be cool, so bring a sweater or jacket just in case.

A Special Message From Us

We realize a honeymoon registry is not customary. However, since we are combining two complete households, we felt this was a creative and unique way for our family and friends to help us celebrate our new life together and our common passion for travel! :)
