Jungle Crossing (Nohoch)

Located in Rancho San Felipe, the Nohoch Nah Chich Cenote is one of the longest, most explored underground river systems in the world. This tour begins with a 4x4 all-terrain vehicle tour to the small Mayan community of Rancho San Felipe. Here we will embark on the snorkeling adventure of a lifetime where we will swim down the river and deep into the caves that make this destination so unique. It is inside these deep, mysterious caves where we will observe the magnificent stalactite and stalagmite formations that have grown both above and below the surface of the water. Then it's on to Heaven's Gate, known for its cool waters and ability to help melt away tension and help one relax. This tour also comes complete with an authentic Mayan lunch prepared by the people of the community. This is a true island experience as we will have the opportunity to interact with the Mayans that have lived in this remote location for more than 30 years. The tour wraps up with a kayak ride to the reef for more snorkeling over the most intricate coral and beautiful fish in Mexico.
